Getting the most out of his '96 Chrysler Sebring and going the extra mile is George "G" Ohanian of La Mirada, California, who spent two years turning up the "G forces" on his hot Mopar project car called "G's Ride." The Sebring has been one of the Chrysler design team's most popular modern creations, and we give credit to the 22-year-old welder and Wreckless Car Club member for recognizing the vehicle's custom lowered potential.

George got the ball rolling by altering the stock suspension and working over the stock 24-valve 2.5-liter V-6 engine. With a little help from his friends, George equipped his super Sebring with an air bag system incorporating three air tanks, two compressors, eight fast valves and seven switches, giving his custom Chrysler the ability to hit front, back and side-to-side moves with ease. Under the hood, he installed a chrome upper strut tower bar to protect the engine newly outfitted with a gleaming chrome valve cover, Ractive Superflow intake manifold and more. MHG Metal Polishing in La Mirada gets the props for all of the plating.

George paid a visit to California Auto Center in La Habra, California, for the paint and body modifications. The California crew customized the Chrysler by adding BMW fender "gills" and shaving the door handles, before spraying tasty Spanish olive paint with a little micro flake thrown into the mix. A set of Ultra alloy wheels further raises the lowered Sebring's street appeal.

Things are just as great on the inside of G's Ride, where George utilized the stitching skills of Bill's Auto Upholstery in Brea, California, who inserted color-matching panels in the seats and door panels. George also dropped a few "Gs" at Sound Depot in La Mirada, who installed the electronic entertainment, which includes an Alpine head unit/CD player, Plexiglas enclosures for the Rockford Fosgate Punch and Audio Control amps, and MB Quart and JL Audio speakers. An Optima Yellow Top battery was dropped in the trunk to help provide power for the additional audio gear.

George has garnered a gaggle of First Place and Best of Show awards at SoCal car shows from judges who appreciate his "G-thing" Sebring. We appreciated G's Ride, too, and had a good time bringing it to you.
